Asharani Devgune: artist, mentor, and founder.
Asharani (Ashu) Devgune is a professional dancer, choreographer and teacher with decades of experience in Indian classical and folk traditions.
Originally from Pune, Maharashtra, she is a Bachelor of Performing Arts in Bharatanatyam (University of Pune), with additional training through Prayag Sangeet Samiti and Nrutya Zankar Sangeet Academy.
Her core practice includes Bharatanatyam, Indian folk dance and Bollywood. She has taught and performed across India, Europe and Africa, including founding the dance school Nupur Nrutyala in Tanzania.
With more than 2,000 performances and years of choreography, workshops and productions, Ashu leads the school with warmth, discipline and a commitment to helping every student grow with confidence.
